Abstract: |
The evaluation revealed a series of ditches and gullies dating to the 1st century AD, with a contemporary metalled surface. Later Roman agricultural features were also recorded. 12th to 16th century features included pits and ditches and a metalled track, suggesting the presence of a possible previously unrecorded settlement nearby.
