Abstract: |
The earliest archaeological remains revealed were medieval ditches, which suggested that the site was largely peripheral to pre-medieval settlement activity, but that it may have been incorporated into the agricultural system by the later medieval ages. Much of the archaeological activity on the site appeared to have been associated with the farm and was of fairly recent date. A few post-medieval features were encountered, a closer date for which was not possible due to the paucity of associated finds. [Au(abr)] |
