Abstract: |
The results of the evaluation showed that the majority of the geophysical anomalies were caused by naturally occurring geological features. Evidence in Trench 13 and 14 consisted of the remains of four features. A curvilinear ditch ran across Trench 13; south of this was an oval pit, with a flat base and steep sides, and the end of an east-west ditch. Three sherds of Iron Age or early Romano-British pottery and two sheep/goat maxillary teeth were recovered from the fill of a pit. [Au(abr)] |
