Abstract: |
Archaeological excavations were undertaken within an area of land identified as having the potential to contain medieval tenement plots. Features relating to the medieval road that ran through Tenbury were identified, as well as an associated ditch and pottery finds. No direct evidence for medieval settlement activity was revealed although the potential was recognised for these features to survive elsewhere within the study area. [AIP] |
