Abstract: |
A trench for the insertion of an electricity cable within a 14th century church was archaeologically excavated and recorded. The foundation of the north wall of the nave, a 17th-18th century vault and part of a post-medieval rammed chalk floor were recorded. Finds consisted of a fragment of 15th century glazed floor tile and a large quantity of disarticulated human bone. [AIP] |
