Abstract: |
An archaeological excavation was carried out on the site. A residual Bronze Age flint flake was recovered. Prehistoric pottery was recovered from a pit and a curving irregular Iron Age ditch. The ditch was reused in the Roman period and became part of a Roman field system, with further ditches being added. Post-medieval stone and pipe drains were also encountered. [Au(abr)] |
