Abstract: |
A watching brief during the excavation of foundation pads during the first phase of redevelopment of an area of 3 Cupps Chequer revealed that survival of archaeological deposits on and immediately behind the Rollestone Street/Winchester Street corner frontage was rather poor. Very little structural evidence for the complexity of buildings forming Balle's Place had survived. [Au] |
