Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the initial groundworks for the restoration of barn 3/4, a Grade II listed building which possibly dated back to the 18th century, although previous archaeological work had suggested a possible late 17th century date. Remnants of the original barn construction and usage were revealed in the form of brick wall foundations and later additions/alterations of floors. [Au(adp)] |
