Abstract: |
The survey succeeded in identifying a complex of archaeological features. The results indicated a series of ditched enclosures, a possible trackway and several pit-like responses. It was evident that the core of the site occupied a 40 metre wide band that exteneded across the survey area. However, considerable noise had been introduced to the data because of the ploughed and rutted ground, which resulted in the loss of detail in certain areas of the field. However, this did not detract from defining the extent of the core settlement.[Au] |
