Abstract: |
An archaeological investigation undertaken during the excavation of engineering trial pits revealed that there had been extensive truncation and levelling in parts of the site. Some potential medieval deposits were noted, though the most tangible features were two large pits that may be related to the 18th century brick kiln that had existed to the west of the site.
