Abstract: |
<summary>Sample trenches were excavated on a site occupied prior to 1810 by a medieval and post-medieval tile-kiln complex known as "Tile Kiln Farm". The evaluation did not reveal the location of the tile-kiln or of any associated structure. It did, however, reveal areas of associated activity such as a possible puddling pit, and dumped material such as tile fragments, ash, charcoal and burnt clay. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea}{italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} GLSMR091710 - 091712 |
