Abstract: |
An archaeological desk-based assessment was undertaken. The buildings within the study area had performed a number of functions, including dyeworks, a wine merchant store, nail works and finally a brush works. The variation of works suggested that refurbishment of property took place in order to adapt the buildings for each use. Cartographic evidence suggested that some of the early structures had survived to the present day. [Au(adp)] |
