Abstract: |
Field evaluation including geophysical survey and trial trenching located a Roman military enclosure. The enclosure, possibly a temporary camp or a more permanent fort, measured 125m north-south and 112m east-west with an internal area of 1.4ha. Possible beam slots within the enclosure suggested permanent occupation. [Au(abr)]\n |
