Abstract:		 A watching brief was carried out to ascertain ground conditions with a view to development of the site at later date. Modern material was found to a depth of 1.00m, with medieval deposits to a depth of 1.3m, and deposits of Roman origin between 1.3m and the top of the sub-soil at c.1.80m. [Au(abr)]
