Abstract: |
The work undertaken at Tavistock Road consisted of a field evaluation and building recording. No archaeological features were identified during the excavation of the trenches. However, both the Plymouth Leat and the Devonport Leat were cut by three of the trenches. The building recording identified a Second World War bunker and a cottage. Four structures were noted: two gauge tanks, a sluice/filter tower and an overflow. [Au(abr)] |
