Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was carried out on excavations in front of development at Bromham Hall, which was constructed upon the site of one of the medieval manors of Bromham. Excavations revealed the foundations of two walls which formed the corner of a building. There was also evidence of a make-up layer for an internal floor. Although no dating evidence was recovered, the orientation of the walls did not fit in with that of the present building. This suggested that the foundations may have related to an earlier layout.
