Abstract: |
<summary>Evaluation was undertaken on the site of proposed sand extraction. Archaeological monuments and discoveries are known within the immediate vicinity, notably a Bronze Age barrow cemetery. Documentary research and field inspection failed to locate further sites of archaeological importance. The geophysical survey and excavation revealed no archaeological features and showed a mound suspected of being a Bronze Age barrow to be of natural origin. {italon}AIP{italoff} {italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} 1343 |
