Abstract: |
<summary>Two test-pits were dug within Stonier/Bridge House prior to redevelopment. Although no archaeological features were found, preserved soil horizons were noted, along with finds such as daub, roof slate, animal bone and an iron nail. A medieval date for the finds has been suggested. {italon}AIP{italoff} {italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} SOU 522 (Southampton City Council, Heritage Management investigation identification no) |
