Abstract: |
Assessment of the proposed water pipeline corridor running from Middleton Low Moor to Ulshaw Bridge established that features of potential archaeological significance were located adjacent to the Scheduled earthworks of William's Hill at the western end of the corridor and that a Romano-British hypocaust building was situated adjacent to Straight Lane in the central area of the corridor.
