Abstract: |
The renovation work revealed elements of the original 17th century farm building. In the ground floor east room the modern fireplace was removed to reveal the original 17th century fireplace. Fragments of 17th/18th-century pottery and later material were recovered from the topsoil in the vicinity of the farm and from foundation trenches. No evidence for any earlier farm building was recorded. [Au] |
