Abstract: |
Archaelogical monitoring of the excavation of three trenches for the thrust noring of a water pipeline was undertaken in an area close to Middleham Castle and William's Hill at Middleham. A pit of probable archaeological signifcance was recorded within trench 1 and traces of ridge and furrow were noted intermittently within the fields through which the pipeline passed. [Au] |
