Abstract: |
A small amount of worked and burnt flint, concentrated along the south-eastern margin of the site, indicated that a site of prehistoric activity must have existed close by. It was possible that the remainder of the focus may already have been destroyed, or may have lain in areas yet to be disturbed. Future work should be subject to a condition ensuring that adequate provision is made to investigate any surviving archaeological remains. [Au(abr)] |
