Abstract: |
No specific sites of archaeological interest were located within the proposed development area. The hedges forming the southern boundaries were likely to be earlier than 19th century in date and consideration should be given to incorporating them into the proposed scheme. However, the possibility remained, given the lack of previous fieldwork in the area, that features of prehistoric or Roman date could have survived within this area. [Au(abr)] |
