Abstract: |
A second stage of field evaluation was carried out prior to development at 11-39 High Street. Two trenches were excavated. In the first trench a Victorian bottle dump was revealed within a layer of mixed overburden, whilst the second trench was abandoned following the discovery of a thick concrete raft below a thin layer of rubble.
