Abstract: |
A foundation trench was opened for a new sitting room extension. This revealed an undated hearth feature and a possible flint rubble wall footing. The owner had a photo showing a second cottage behind the present 72 fronting Crown Lane. The report concluded that the features were probably medieval or post-medieval, relating to this building.
