Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out at a site with a widespread building programme, where a field evaluation had been carried out. A Roman road was known to cross the site, but no traces of this were found during a previous evaluation. During the watching brief, the excavation of two trenches was observed. Evidence of recent landscaping was revealed, but no significant archaeological features were encountered. [AIP] |
