Abstract: |
A series of pits were dug for the erection of traffic control CCTV poles. They were all located near or on known archaeological sites. In one pit cobbles were uncovered which may have been part of the Roman road known to have led from the Legionary Fortress. All the other pits produced no datable finds. [Au(abr)] |
