Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a car-park immediately to the south of Grim's Dyke, an Iron Age earthwork which was a Scheduled Ancient Monument. The site lay within an archaeological priority area. A small number of Mesolithic flint flakes had been recorded in the vicinity. No archaeological features or finds were discovered during the evaluation, and it was concluded that no further investigation would be necessary.[AIP] |
