Abstract: |
A linear depression, aligned north-west to south-east and clearly visible in the field prior to any excavation taking place, was examined and recorded. This feature, probably a former hollow-way or hedge-line, was an extension of a field boundary shown. The stripping of turf revealed only natural sandy clay subsoil. A small quantity of artefacts recovered consisted of pottery and metalwork. [Au(abr)] |
