Abstract: |
An archaeological excavation was carried out on the site. An early Neolithic pit and a spread of Neolithic pits and a tree-throw were identified. Ten beaker pits were also recorded along with Early Bronze Age pit clusters, a Middle Bronze Age boundary system forming large paddocks and three Middle/Late Bronze Age pits. These were sealed a Late Bronze Age surface, which was cut by a Roman date feature. [Au(abr)] |
