Abstract: |
Archaeological investigations were carried out at the ruins of the SAM. The excavation exposed several buried wall footings from a number of separate structures that appeared to predate the church. The buried walls may have been of medieval or Saxon origin. Other structures appeared to post date the church. Limited dating evidence was recovered from the walls or from the sealed contexts associated with them. [Au(abr)] |
