Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was carried out during ground remediation and piling works for an electricity substation. Two small areas of undisturbed deposits and possible associated pottery, close to an area of known archaeological interest, suggested archaeological deposits may have survived below the excavated level. However, it was thought likely that the subsequent piling will have caused localised damage to any surviving archaeological features or deposits. [Au(adp)] |
