Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation, consisting of the excavation of two trial trenches was undertaken in mitigation of a planning condition prior to redevelopment of the site. No significant archaeological remains were identified. Extensive disturbance and truncation of underlying gravel terrace deposits, caused by 19th century and later building activity, was apparent over much of the site. [Au(adp)] |
