Abstract: |
An archaeological desk-based assessment was carried out. The data collected indicated that the principal focus of archaeological interest was associated with the 19th century limestone quarries and associated industrial activity that was formerly present on the site. The principal impact on any archaeological resources that may have survived on the site would be derived from site clearance associated with the removal of the foundations of the buildings currently occupying the site and the ground works for the development.
