Abstract: |
The evaluation revealed field boundaries, which were removed during the last century, as Bromsgrove expanded to the north-west of the Spadesbourne Brook. Other features were also quite modern. A small amount of medieval pottery indicated a low level of activity in the area, which was surprising, given its proximity to the medieval town. The results of the evaluation indicated that the extreme north-east corner of the proposed development site may have been of particular archaeological significance. [Au] |
