Abstract: |
The site of the development lay in an area of archaeological interest within the core of the medieval village, along one of the main street frontages. The watching brief revealed a ditch which contained sherds of pottery dating from the late 15th to the 18th century. Other pits were identified which were interpreted as evidence of rubbish dumping.
