Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation was undertaken within an archaeologically sensitive area, lying both within the Roman town and immediately adjacent to a site where previous excavations had indicated the presence of well preserved archaeological deposits. Well preserved Roman deposits were encountered in a test pit at a depth of .40 metres below the modern ground surface. [AIP]
