Abstract: |
A test pitting and evaluation trench survey was carried out on two fields at the site. Field A produced no archaeology but was only test pitted due to soil stability. In field B scatters of Mesolithic and Neolithic flint were identified suggestive of working areas. A Bronze Age burnt mound was also identified. The only medieval feature was a late medieval ditch. Two modern ditches were also encountered. [Au(abr)] |
