Abstract: |
Fieldwalking within the area of Alborough Flats recovered 120 finds. All of these finds were post-medieval or later in date. 30 boreholes were excavated. The sequences identified represent a combination of inorganic alluvial deposits associated with the channel migration in the floodplain and channel aggradations with radiocarbon dates ranging from the Late Mesolithic to the Bronze Age.
