Abstract: |
An archaeological trench evaluation was undertaken along the proposed underground cable route. This consisted of 26 trenches, some of which were targeted at areas of previously identified geophysical anomalies, the trenches represented 33% of the route. No archaeological features or finds were identified. Despite the presence of a nearby prehistoric crop mark site (a Scheduled Ancient Monument 34280) the cable route appeared to be of low archaeological potential. [Au(adp)] |
