Abstract: |
Archaeological recording, comprising the examination of foundation trenches and areas stripped for the construction of access roads and service trenches during five separate visits, identified no archaeological features. Examination of spoil recovered only finds of late post-medieval and modern date. It was concluded that due to the levels and ground reduction and the use of strip foundations, there was potential for the preservation of any unidentified archaeological deposits beneath the new buildings.
