Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at a proposed development site within an Archaeological Priority Zone. A probable early post-medieval foreshore covered by 16th century dumped rubbish was revealed. Large quantities of pottery and animal bone were present. 17th century and earlier revetments, 16th-18th century floor levels and 19th century walls with 18th century foundations were recorded.
