Abstract:
Monitoring of the site strip and excavation of the foundation trench in addition to one service trench revealed a sequence of natural deposits into which one north to south aligned medieval gully/ditch was cut. One fragment of a Brandsby Ware 14th century jug handle was recovered during the site strip while the fill of the medieval gully yielded a single sherd of sand tempered courseware dating between the 12th and 14th centuries.
