Abstract: |
The watching brief was undertaken during the construction of a single dwelling. The site lay within the medieval core of the village. Prehistoric and Saxon remains, including burials, had been found in the general area. No archaeological features were identified and no significant artefacts were recovered. A single sherd of 13th/14th century pottery was found in the spoil heap. [Au(adp)] |
