Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was carried out on land proposed for development. Medieval features were located in the eastern part of the area of proposed development (Planning App. DA97/0707 and the eastern part of Planning App. DA97/0706). The features probably represented property boundary ditches. One of the ditches truncated a deep pit, possibly a rubbish pit or well, containing medieval pottery. The broad date range for the pottery was c.1100-1400. [Au] |
