Abstract: |
The evaluation included the stripping of topsoil, mapping any archaeological features and sample investigation of the features. This work revealed evidence of a substantial Romano-British field system, a trackway, two cremation burials and pits, all of which suggests a settlement possibly in the proposed development area to the east of the site. Further work was planned. [Au(abr)] |
