Abstract: |
Two trenches excavated within the grounds of No. 12 Bell Lane revealed medieval pits and indistinct shallow ditches or gullies aligned parallel to the present Bell Lane. The evaluation also revealed a group of very large, 16th -19th century rubbish pits located towards the back of former burgage plots fronting onto Thame High Street. [Au] |
