Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a housing development. A small number of prehistoric and Roman artefacts and a hoard of early medieval coins had been recorded in the surrounding area. The site of a medieval manor lay 500m away. During the evaluation, late 18th-19th century brick foundations, post-medieval pottery and clay pipe fragments were recorded. It was concluded that no further work would be necessary. [AIP] |
