Abstract: |
Roman deposits were identified during the watching brief, as expected, but any earlier features would have been sealed below the sorted horizon which was not removed by the machining. The topsoil was a stone-free horizon and all finds came from the top of the sorted horizon. This produced a few sherds of post-medieval porcelain and earthenware; a flint scraper; a borer; and a single piece of burnt flint. [Au(abr)] |
