Abstract: |
The study area was thought likely to be prolific in archaeology of the medieval period onwards. The frontage to Bridge Street and Manchester Street were thought to have a high potential for remains to be discovered, although truncation by cellaring was foreseen. Any remains would have been significant to the settlement of Luton, consolidating the gap in the archaeological record created by the development of the city centre. [Au(adp)] |
